Go Animate

Go Animate is a website that lets users create animated videos for free. It is designed to give users a quick and easy way to make animated videos for whatever reason they want.

Users do not need to download any software or have experience in art or film.

Users can:
  • Sign up/create accounts
  • Link their accounts to email addresses/social networking sites
  • Interact with the community
  • Watch other users' videos
  • Watch tutorials
  • Enter contests
  • Contribute to the sites' forum

To create a video, the user browses through the various video templates available. They can then choose the setting for their video. From there, the user clicks on the "Next" button and can progress to choosing their desired characters. When finished, dialogue can then be put into the video. After the dialogue is chosen, the user can preview their video and edit it before saving and uploading it.

The websites' design uses large lettering and colourful images to attract attention but has a very plain background. It is slightly cluttered and its target audience appears to be mainly teenagers.

Here is a video that I created by using Go Animate:http://goanimate.com/videos/08oSawYuLe18?utm_source=linkshare&uid=0-BFy-LjrS7c

HTML - continued...

Today, we continued learning about different aspects of creating HTML. We used the template of what we did last week and added more features. One of the things we added was a table. Using this, we could put a border around some of the text. We also resized pictures to place alongside the text, inside the table. We also learned how to create hotspots on images using HTML pages.

HTML - 8/4/2012

Today, we learned how to write webpages using HTML. First, we learned how to create basic HTML documents following guidelines that we were given. Then, we learned how to input colour and text fonts using HTML. After that, we learned how to add links to a webpage using HTML and finally we learned how to insert pictures onto the webpage.
